Nothing to dislike

I was pleased with spotlessly clean and brand-new room, which was complete with the bar as well as the bath. A microwave oven, tea and coffee making equipment, and a refrigerator where a huge plus. The stuff was amicable and gave me recommendations. The team provided a helpful service. Late check-out was useful. Decent location of the hotel in the middle of jackson.

The hotel's position was good, in the middle of jackson. The staff were amiable from the moment we arrived.

The room at Red Roof Inn & Suites San Angelo was cozy and had all the essentials, like a laptop-friendly workspace and comfy beds. As a business traveler, I felt right at home.

Some aspects were outdated, but it didn't bother me much.

The bed was very comfortable.

There was little water pressure or hot water for the shower.

the rooms hadn't been properly cleaned in a while, the toilet wouldn't flush without the lid off and pushing the button, the bathtub was dirty. spider webs, dead roaches, had to beg for towels. Next to a bar and was hard to get to sleep until after 3

The rooms here are clean, brand-new, and the staff is pleasant, plus the hotel has a good location near a night club.

my 1st room had bees in it when we arrived no extra towels and was bitten by spider on my neck which swelled up

Front desk staff were cordial and bed was pretty comfortable. Can't beat the price ($40/night for 2 twins, non-smoking.)

My bathroom wasn't cleaned during my 4-night stay. A dead bug, a paper wrapping I had dropped the first night, and a soiled toilet bowl were proof. My next door "neighbor" was smoking out front of her room at dawn - 4 feet from my A/C unit - and the smell wafted into my room. Comments to the front desk didn't resolve the issue and my request to her that she not smoke right out in front of my A/C unit was ignored. Pretty much negated having a non-smoking room, at least for the early morning hours. Rooms are in need of repair and updating. Lots of patching on the walls and ceiling. Property is old. Noisy ... back of motel where I stayed shares small parking area with an apartment complex. Lots of folks coming and going at all times of the night. Woke me up at least once each night - 3 times one night. The only other room available was a room right adjacent to the busy, attached night club. Temps were in the low 90's into the night. The A/C in my room was not on when I checked in at 11PM. The room was hot and stuffy. Took about 15 minutes to cool down. The AC was running, set at a not-too-uncomfortable 80 degrees, when I returned in the evening, but it didn't take long to cool things down to the low 70's that I like.

A great spot for my trip, and the friendly staff made my stay enjoyable.

Bathro had cobwebs and dead spiders in the corners. Dirty dirty.

The room smelled real good and clean. Rooms were large.

The only thing I can complain about was the A/C had a hard time keeping the room cool. But, im hot natured anyway and it was 100 out that day.
